The 1993 novel Tony and Susan is being given the big screen treatment under the moniker Nocturnal Animals, with a pretty impressive cast also including Jake Gyllenhaal, Amy Adams, Kim Basinger, Michael Shannon, Isla Fisher and Armie Hammer. The book is a celebrated work of fiction which revolves around a woman named Susan (Adams) being sent a manuscript by her author ex-husband (Hammer). She begins reading his new novel and finds herself absorbed by the story of Tony (Gyllenhaal) and the mysterious man who threatens his family (Taylor-Johnson). Somehow it all ends up tying together for Susan in the real-world in the worst way possible. Sounds like this year's mind-f*ck book adap. Gone Girl, eat your heart out. Release Date: TBA
