Scarlett's pretty damn busy this year. Reuniting with her old Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau - who obviously has a bit of a soft spot for her, after similarly sticking her in his food-porn indie, Chef - ScarJo will be providing the voice of hypnotic snake Kaa in the first of two Jungle Book adaptations rolling out over the next two years, joining a cast that includes Idris Elba as Shere Khan, Bill Murray as Baloo(!) and Christopher Walken as King Louis. Kudos to her for being in the first one to be released, as the next version helmed by Andy Serkis is likely to be swept under the rug somewhat (remember White House Down? Or Deep Impact? Or any other film of a highly-specific subject matter that came out after or against a similarly-themed movie?) Johansson's sultry voice is an intriguing, if logical fit for the mesmerising snake - although I've seen the trailer a fair few times now, and I'm still not used to hearing her voice come out of that fairly messed-up-looking snake.
