The Foreshadowing

Sometimes, foreshadowing is cleverly done without any story-telling needing to be explicitly involved. In the first Kingsman movie, it's revealed that there's a mole working within the service, and the fact that Mark Strong - noted member of the British Villains Club (on account of how well and frequently he's done it) - is part of the cast points directly towards him.

On top of that, his character Merlin is also the mole in the comic book, so it seems to make sense that he's been cast.

What Actually Happened...

In reality, it's actually Michael Caine - he of soft, quivvering Alfred voice and permanently nice man demeanour, who is the turncoat, despite being the head of the entire organisation. It's a clever twist that completely suckers the audience into believing entirely the wrong thing.
