12 Movies Worth Watching Over & Over Again

4. A Fish Called Wanda

My first experience with this movie was when I received it as a gift for my 16th birthday. I have never gone anywhere without the disc since, on the off chance of finding someone new to show it to. It's a heist film, it's a comedy, it's a farce, it's a fast-talking leading-lady film brought to you by John Cleese and friends. If that hasn't sold it to you already, maybe I can win you over by mentioning the rest of the cast: Jaime Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline, and Michael Palin! Ta da! Not only is the film beautifully cast, it's hilarious and fast-paced. Every single character delivers (even the poor old lady with three dogs) in a jumble of story lines worthy of the Coen brothers' praise. The movie practically requires a repeat viewing, just to see how much each character has changed and moved around throughout the film, and it's one that can be quoted without end (mostly Kevin Kline's character's lines). An added bonus? It's also currently on Netflix.
