12 Original Films That Could Be Big Hits In 2016

Sometimes all it takes for a movie to become a hit is to find the right pairing of stars.

Some producers out there knew what they were doing when they decided to put Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart on a poster together. Both are immensely popular and both are effortlessly entertaining to watch, and their team up is a recipe for gold.

Johnson has found a lot of success with big, brash action films already, but performance-wise he always shines brightest when he infuses a bit of comedy into the role. Hart has also seen quite a bit of box office success in recent years, and even when his films are lacking overall, his high-energy and quick delivery make him likeable.

Throwing them both into the action-buddy genre is really a no-brainer. Hopefully the film doesn’t take for granted the audience’s willingness to see this pairing and phone-in a mediocre effort. But Johnson and Hart should be able to bring a lot of charisma to the film and by the look of the trailers, they have instant chemistry.

Let’s hope for the next Rush Hour and not the next Rush Hour 3.
