With X-Men: Days Of Future Past flirting with Hugh Jackman's nude form, the precedent had been set early for shocks, and David Fincher's chilling psychological thriller took it one step further with brief shots of both Neil Patrick Harris and Ben Affleck naked. Fincher was keen to add authenticity and a stark honesty to his film, so he didn't frame the sex scenes or the nudity as anything other than incidental. There's no celebration, they merely happen because they happen: but that doesn't mean fans would be able to resist endlessly replaying this shot of the newest Batman as soon as it hit home release. As one probably over-curious GIF maker found, the shower sequence included the briefest glimpse of Ben Affleck's penis: something his wife had foreshadowed quite proudly in interviews.
