12 People Who Hated Working On DC Movies

10. Josh Brolin - Jonah Hex

Like Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin has a number of comic book movie appearances under his belt. He's played Thanos a couple of times already, he was in Men In Black III and he's playing Cable alongside Reynolds. All of those appearances were about a billion times better than his turn in Jonah Hex, which has to rank as one of the most profoundly disappointing comic book movie adaptations of all time.

And Brolin is well aware of how bad it was. When he was asked about the film he said quite categorically that he "hated it. Hated it". He lays the blame squarely at the reshoots that saw 66 pages redone in just 12 days as well as the studio spending too much money in the first place and then trying to save money on those reshoots.

For him, Jonah Hex should have cost no more than $8-$10 million (rather than $80m) and it should have been based on something like High Plains Drifter, which sounds an awful lot better than what we actually got.
