10. Christian Bale As Mephisto
After what seems like immeasurable reboots and portrayals over the course of the character's lifetime, Christian Bale still stands tall as the best Batman ever brought to the screen. Contributing to what is possibly the greatest comic book movie trilogy of all time, Bale is an icon in the super hero world.
No surprises then when the world went mad at the news that the British actor would be joining the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder. Naturally, thoughts went directly to Beta Ray Bill, but the newest rumours say that Bale will be playing an 'intergalactic, otherworldly villain'.
Still, this leaves the door open to many, many characters, but one that needs to be brought to the MCU soon is Mephisto. A typical nemesis of the God of Thunder, the demonic villain has also been known to square off against the likes of Doctors Strange and Doom, and was even a servant to Thanos during Infinity Gauntlet.
While likely not the next big bad of the MCU, Christian Bale would commit and dive head first into the character, lending the villain the kind of charismatic evil that made Loki so popular. Bale simply doesn't do bad work, and could easily make Mephisto one of the best bad guys to grace the franchise yet.
