There are no properties making the jump from Fox to Marvel with more excitement and hype surrounding them than the Fantastic Four. Marvel's first family have been sold short three times on the big screen before, and now is the time for the MCU to do them justice.
The man at the top of just about everyone's list to play Mr. Fantastic is John Krasinski. Though he originally auditioned for the role of Captain America, Krasinski had said himself how much he'd love to play the role of Reed Richards, and we can't help but agree.
Krasinski has come a long way since the days of Jim Halpert on The Office, building from his comedic roles to action in the likes of Amazon's Jack Ryan series. Having the ability to create Marvel's trademark blend between humour and action is a necessity for a character such as Reed Richards, and Krasinski would have no trouble at all in achieving this.
After his critically acclaimed work behind the camera with A Quiet Place, the actor's name may well come up when Marvel Studios are searching for a director for the Fantastic Four movie, as well as being their leading man.
