The question of how to spin off a stand-alone movie when the main narrative is currently invested in building an ensemble is a tricky one. The Avengers did it by splitting key people up geographically and building small teams, but Civil War as proved that the pull of the ensemble will win out at some point.

For Batman, the answer is to look for a comic that specifically deals with Batman being cut off and having to deal with a perilous situation alone. For that, the best option is definitely No Man's Land. That arc sees Gotham turned into an isolated no man's land, cut off from outside governments who refuse to assist, in which the villains band together and take over.

Though we've already seen a similar idea in The Dark Knight Rises, the idea of Gotham as a sort of negative zone slum has already been foreshadowed in Batman v Superman, and there's something magical about the prospect of Batman having to fight his whole Rogues Gallery for control.

That particular task would also suit this version of Batman: hulking, tenacious and a skilled warrior. It could be quite the spectacle.
