6. Peter's Landlord's Daughter - Spider-Man 2

You know what this two-hour-plus superhero movie really needed? A secondary love interest for Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire), because the will-they-won't-they between himself and M.J. (Kirsten Dunst) apparently didn't eat up enough screen time.

Peter also receives attention from Ursula Ditkovich (Mageina Tovah), the cute daughter of Peter's landlord, who re-appears several times throughout the movie to flirt with Peter and...not really do much else.

She has no link whatsoever to the central plot with regard to Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), Mary Jane or indeed anyone else, and the fact that Peter doesn't remotely return her advances only makes it seem that much more pointless.
