Harkening back to Luke once again for what certainly is an out there proposition. As mentioned before there is a lot of precedent for fantastic and imaginative things to happen in the world of Star Wars. One which has been present since it's inception is the presence of force spirits.

They have been seen in the original trilogy as merely reanimations of Obi-Wan, Yoda and Anakin's physical selves who can communicate with the living. Then in The Last Jedi this seemed to have been explored further as we see Yoda actually use the force to burn the tree, it is possible Yoda always had this ability or that every force spirit can use the force in the living world, but what if that is not the case?

What if there are, to put it in simple terms, levels to being a force spirit? What if the possibilities of a force spirits abilities are unknown even to the force spirit themselves until they explore the nature of the force deeper and deeper to seek answers? Similar to what we see Yoda try to do in The Clone Wars season 6.

Could - with enough knowledge and power - force spirits wield and duel with a lightsabre? Could they appear in physical form without the light blue colour we know them to have? Could they be in multiple locations at once? Could Luke Skywalker rise to a higher form of spirit, to a higher place witin the force? Infinite possibilities, infinite potential.
