10. The Secret Invasion

Though the replacement of the Skrulls with the Chitauri for the tagged on climactic battle in The Avengers was something of an anti-climax, it does mean that we can now get the Skrull movie that needs to happen. Provided there aren't any issues over the rights, anyway. After the giant events that are Civil War and Infinity War, having something like Secret Avengers would be the perfect next step.

Rather than facing ideology or a giant-chinned alien-God, the Avengers would be torn apart from the inside (again) as they would be forced to deal with their members being replaced by alien imposters. It would also fit in with the MCU trend of having internal conflict at the fore-front of the Avengers arcs, and we've already seen a political intrigue comic book do extremely well in The Winter Soldier.

So consider this one an intriguing dark horse.

Likelihood

In February 2014, James Gunn suggested that Marvel might not even be able to make a movie with the Skrulls:

"Marvel only partially owns Skrulls, and also for the record, we don't own the Badoon either. So people were asking why we have the Sakaaran in the film, we don't own the Badoon."

And of course there's the issue of releasing so many Avengers movies in close proximity, but as Captain America: Civil War is proving, some creative rebranding would work. Plus the comics have multiple Avengers strands, so why couldn't the MCU?
