9. What Happened To Dolores Umbridge?
There is no shortage of incredible villains throughout the Harry Potter movies. From the big bad himself to the likes of Barty Crouch Jr. and Bellatrix Lestrange. With most villains, the big payoff comes when we finally see the good guys triumph and the bad guys get their comeuppance.
For the most part this is true in the Harry Potter movies. Voldemort is destroyed by Harry, Barty Crouch Jr. is discovered and taken away to Azkaban, and Bellatrix is killed by Molly Weasley. One heinous character that we don't truly see get what she deserves is Dolores Umbridge.
Harry's former Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher is one of the most hated characters in the entire franchise, possibly even more so than the Dark Lord himself. She physically scarred Harry Potter, hated half bloods, and unfairly tried anyone she suspected to be anything other than a pure blood.
However, the last we see of her in the movies, she is attacked by Harry and releived of the locket Horcrux. After what she did however, the pain and anguish she caused so many, is this all the consequence we get to see? No Azkaban sentence like in the books? No mob justice? Nothing? Just a simple Stupify spell and nothing more. Surely seeing Umbridge's comeuppance would have been one of the most satisfying moments in the entire series!
