8. Will Rick Still Die? - The Walking Dead Movies

Not so long ago, we were all tricked. Well, not all of us - just those who are still engaged with watching The Walking Dead. Which is significantly fewer people than there used to be.

Anyway, the deception came when we were led to believe that Rick Grimes was going to die as Andrew Lincoln had decided to hang up his hat and move on. But then it turned out he wasn’t killed and he was going to star in three Walking Dead movies instead.

The important question here is whether his fate is still going to remain the same. The films’ existence at all suggests that AMC know they need their biggest character to stick around, but they can’t reasonably end a three movie arc with anything but the end of the zombie outbreak (and what would it say for the show that they ended it outside of its own borders?) or he dies. He can’t just go on forever.

Let’s hope that the end justifies the means, because these films are a strange way to go.
