12 Reasons The Cable Guy Is The Greatest Comedy Of The '90s

4. Nightmare ("No Big Deal!")

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EK8Hw5XVvnk For people who are in the midst of torment like Steven is, it must be hard to sleep. Not hard to fall asleep mind you, but tough to stay asleep since every time you close your eyes you probably see the very thing you are afraid of coming after you. In Steven's case it isn't a chainsaw wielding psycho or the boogeyman, but Jim Carrey. Jim Carrey with really creepy eyes, a demonic voice and remixed version of the The Mod Squad theme song playing in the background. At this point in the story, Steven is hip to Chip's (or whatever his name is) true nature and has taken measures to protect himself accordingly. But Chip, you see, is like Freddy Kruger. He works as well in the nocturnal as he does in the... non-nocturnal. Post incarceration, Steven is jobless (thanks to Chip) but has finally made it home and is in the middle of some deeply deserved rest. That is until he receives a dream visit from his not-so-favorite cable guy. Or is it? The cable guy of Steven's reality has given birth to the cable demon of his dreams. Pay special attention to when Chip is trying to break down the door to Steven's apartment as his attempts to do so are over the top and laugh out loud funny. It seems that no comic is better at expressing physical pain than Carrey. If this scene doesn't convince you of that, then let me remind you of the the time that he took an arrow to the knee... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0toAUUHD4g

Raymond Woods is too busy watching movies to give you a decent bio. If he wasn't too busy watching movies and reading books about movies and listening to podcasts about movies, this is what he'd tell you. "I know more about film than you. Accept this as a fact and we might be able to talk."
