12 Recent Movies Better Reviewed Than Green Book

And now for something a little different. Fighting with My Family is a 2019 release so didn't qualify for the most recent Oscars, but it's certainly more of an entertaining and crowd-pleasing movie than Green Book.

Again, it only scored slightly higher with critics, but considering that many WWE fans expected it to be a generic, messy sports biopic, its near-universal acclaim is an undeniably huge surprise.

It's grappling (sorry) with more simplistic issues than Green Book, sure, but it nevertheless gives WWE superstar Paige's rise to fame a surprisingly nuanced treatment, and boasts a bevy of strong performances in the bargain.

A movie from WWE Studios - the label behind wrestler-starring action vehicles like The Marine and 12 Rounds - has a stronger critical consensus than the 2019 Best Picture winner. Hell has officially frozen over.
