10. The Six Billion Dollar Man

Mark Wahlberg has been trying to get his remake of The Six Million Dollar Man off the ground for some time now, but it all looked pretty promised from November 2016, when the actor and Bob Weinstein made a presentation of the project at the American Film Market. At the time, Wahlberg affirmed his commitment to making this over any superhero movie (no matter what the contract or the character).

Since then, though, the tyres have hit several punctures with director Damian Szifron leaving the project in 2018 and Warner Bros first moving the release date into 2020 (from its original late 2019 release) and then removing a release all together with Wonder Woman 1984 taking the tentpole position that year.

It hasn't been cancelled and we should definitely expect Wahlberg's take on the story of Colonel Steve Austin, but it's probably just a matter of patience.
