Marvel Entertainment have long since fired the first shots in the great battle for superhero movie supremacy over DC: they've already stolen a significant march in released films, and are at least a step ahead of their closest rivals, with DC yet to release their premiere flag-pole team-up. In many ways though, Marvel's only real opponent now is originality and diversity in their upcoming films: because a lack of progress is the single biggest concern for any fan invested in the genre. Thanks to Marvels applications for trademarks, as well as overt hints from creative supremo Kevin Feige, and irresistible narrative threads in existing MCU movies, we have some indication of the unannounced Marvel movies that will probably appear in the upcoming slate. And if the hints are to be read as an indication of what is to come, it looks like we're set for some intriguing, and occasionally downright shocking properties. For the most part, this list will ignore the likelihood of unannounced general sequels that are an inevitability, with a tighter focus on specific story lines and properties that Feiges juggernaut production company will next announce.
