12 Stupid Mistakes That Somehow Made It Into 2013 Movies

2. Lois Lane, Heavier Than Science - Man Of Steel

Man Of Steel was hardly the most intelligently written film of the year: despite the fact that the film was an excellent spectacle, which channeled the more sombre tone of Christopher Nolan's revisionary Batman trilogy, the script was idiotic in places. Ignoring the reactionary script-writing, and the holes that were filled in retrospect by bilious, outraged fans (check the comments thread here, it's wonderful) who clearly don't understand the idea that a reboot in one medium should never, ever rely on plot details from a different iteration of the character from an alternative source, the film has no sense of scientific logic. We can accept that Superman is holding his breath in space (despite there being NO precedent in the movie - where all rules should be set) but how does Lois Lane avoid the irresistible pull of the black-hole that pulls everything else in? Is she made of dark matter? Perhaps there's an answer in the source that someone can spit at us in the comments.
