12. Shrek Could've Looked Goofy As Hell
What do you get if you cross Fungus the Bogeyman, Rab C. Nesbitt, John Goodman and Mammy Two Shoes? Well, evidently you get this early draft version of Shrek. The final version of the iconic ogre was perfect. He didn't look too goofy, had an appearance that could be seen as both friendly and frightening and wore clothes that were reflective of his standing as a lowly swamp dweller. He was a far cry from the gormless, happy-go-lucky, skirt and sandal-wearing joke that was drafted prior to DreamWorks settling on the final version. Thank goodness it didn't see the light of day when it came to the actual animated features.
