11. Silver Surfer Could've Been Scrawny

The Silver Surfer has always had and always will have the physique of a human being in the comic books - and it's served him pretty well so far. Yet, thanks to early concept art for his appearance in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, it would seem that Fox had considered giving him a physique more reminiscent of the classic aliens that so many people claim to have seen in the real world. Skinny and spindly, the Silver Surfer would have looked pretty ridiculous in this form - and a lot less formidable than his usual muscular self. Thankfully, common sense prevailed and the Silver Surfer so many people know and love from the pages of Marvel Comics - in terms of his appearance at least - was the one who appeared in the movie (that's not to say he wasn't ruined by a number of other flaws, but at least they got his look right).
