10. Neytiri Could've Been A Martian Cher

Zoe Saldana's Na'vi warrior Neytiri - a member of the Omaticaya clan - was something of a work of art in the final version of James Cameron's 2009 epic Avatar. The early design concepts for the character, however, were not. The final version of the character still managed to maintain Saldana's beauty, despite the fact that it merged her appearance with that of a feline to create the Na'vi look. She was both beautiful and animalistic/dangerous looking at the same time. The early draft that we're referring to here was awful. It looked like what Cher would look like if she'd had the same amount of plastic surgery she has had now, but was actually from Mars. Essentially, the character wouldn't have been anywhere near as stunning or likeable had they gone with this Martian Cher look an we're glad they didn't.
