12 Things In Pixar Movies That Make No Sense

10. The Incredibles - The Omnidroid's Weakness

In most superhero stories, the villain believes he will emerge triumphant due to his or her doomsday weapon, oblivious that it has a glaring weakness that the superhero can exploit. In Iron Man, the titular character tricks Iron Monger to fly too high, knowing that the cold will freeze his armour. In Batman Forever, the Dark Knight hurls a bunch of pennies at Two-Face while he tosses a quarter, knowing that the supervillain can only make decisions on the flip of a coin.

In The Incredibles, Syndrome has a clever way to get around this problem. He allows superheroes to defeat his killer robot, The Omnidroid, in a controlled environment. Once it is destroyed, Syndrome will rebuild the robot so it is immune to the previous way it was defeated.

After rebuilding The Omnidroid nine times, it is immune to lava, magnetism, electricity, etc. In the final battle, The Incredibles manage to defeat the machine by tricking it into penetrating its own armour with its tentacles, pulling out its CPU.

However, this is exactly how it was defeated the previous time. Why didn’t Syndrome make The Omnidroid’s shell denser than its tentacles? If he did, the robot would have been unstoppable.
