12 Things In Pixar Movies That Make No Sense
9. Toy Story - How Have The Toys Never Been Exposed?
Toy Story takes place in a world where toys are alive but act lifeless when humans are nearby as they don't want mankind to know they are sentient beings.
Since Woody is the leader of Andy's toys, it's his job to protect his group's safety. In his first scene, he calls a meeting to prep for Andy's party. To ensure everyone can hear him, Woody uses a microphone. What do microphones do? It makes his voice louder. Shouldn't Woody whisper to avoid people from hearing him? Also, while he is having this meeting, the window is open so everyone outside can listen in!
But it doesn't stop there. The toys regularly visit places that have security cameras. Airports, toy stores, schools, arcades. Are you telling me that a camera has never spotted a toy moving anywhere in the world?
In Toy Story 4, Buzz has a full-blown conversation with two toys while he is on display as a prize at a fairground. Dozens of people walk by and yet Buzz avoids taking discretion. Why are the characters being so careless? If one person sees the toys walking and talking, it will destroy their way of life.
