12 Things That Must Happen In The Next Batman Film

9. Solid Hand-to-Hand Combat

Christopher Nolan is a master of his craft. He can handle the pressure of a franchise beloved by many, taking in stride both the expectations of the fans and the millions upon millions of responsibilities thrown at him by sweaty studio executives who snort coke off the foreheads of supermodels. However, if there is one thing that you would have to nitpick from his Dark Knight trilogy, it€™s that the hand-to-hand combat was more stiff and awkward than anything else. I€™m guessing it was the limitations of the suit, as the main advice Bale passed to Affleck when he took on the mantle of the Bat was to make sure that he could piss while wearing it. Still, there€™s no denying that when Bale€™s Batman was brawling, he resembled yourself when you arrive home disgustingly drunk and have to open a door with sixteen locks. This problem even extended to those fighting against Batman; the Joker fight at the upper-crust party in The Dark Knight and the Catwoman/Batman team-up on the rooftop againt Bane€™s goons being perfect examples of why a severe change is necessary when it comes to martial arts melee in a Batman film. This guy is an uber ninja who could take you apart, piece by piece. Batfleck can€™t look like he has chronic arthritis when he€™s breaking faces. We need a fluid, brutal Bat who is not limited by the fact that he cannot get to his Batpole unless he takes the suit off completely.
