12 Things That Must Happen In The Next Batman Film

8. The Red Hood

Unless you€™ve been living under a rock on Mars, you€™ve probably heard the theory that Jared Leto€™s Joker is actually Jason Todd. Physical evidence from the Suicide Squad and Dawn of Justice trailers are pretty convincing and Bruce Wayne asking Alfred how many good guys in Gotham actually stayed good throws more fuel on the rumour fire, letting us fanboys and fangirls salivated on our keyboards until we find out. Speculation aside, this Batman has a long history as a vigilante in everyone€™s favourite city that they never want to visit. What if there was a previous sidekick of his that actually decided that popping bad guys with bullets like a pent up hole-puncher made a lot more sense than letting them through the revolving door that is the comic book franchise justice system? He doesn€™t have to be a prominent character in the first flick, but having the Red Hood make himself known as a former student of the Bat who takes more extreme measures than simply branding bad guys (because burning someone€™s skin with your symbol is completely rational and not taking it too far at all) will be something fresh for the franchise and offer an adversary beyond the usual Gotham criminal elite. The physical and ideological battles that can come to fruition by introducing the Red Hood in the Batfleck universe are endless and offer an itch that might need some scratching because there are some bad guys who simply need to eat a bullet and seeing whether this Batman will allow that to happen is to tantalizing to pass up.
