12 Things You Didn't Know About Chloë Grace Moretz
2. She Uses Fake Social Media Accounts
We've all heard the stories of hacking celebrity accounts, and we've all seen the repercussions of such scandals splashed across the internet. Whilst Moretz's encounter did not expose anything sensitive, it still ranks alongside the most unlawful attacks. In a 2010 interview with Entertainment Weekly, she stated that her house was broken into, with thieves stealing her computer, hard-drives and iPad. After the robbery, her Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts were vastly tampered with and a number of unwarranted assets (false status updates, imagery ect) were shared across the social media platforms. To this day, Moretz operates her online activities under fake accounts and pseudonyms in the hope to avoid hacker detection. At the time of writing, her Instagram account has 3.5 million followers.
