Who knew that when Tony picked up Peter Parker for Team Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War, their relationship would become so important to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It started with a conversation in his Aunt May's apartment, and the rest is history.

Tony took Peter under his wing after the fight in Germany, he treated him like the son he never had, and he moulded him not only to be an Avenger, but to take over from him when he was gone. Even after he was dead, he still had a huge impact on the life of Peter Parker, but what about Peter's impact on his?

At first he had absolutely no interest in the time heist idea because he didn't want to lose Morgan, but one look at a picture of Peter and he began to think about it. Their relationship literally saved the lives of countless billions, but this wasn't the only example of it in Avengers: Endgame.

The sheer love that Tony had for Peter was on display, no matter how fleetingly, when he first landed back on Earth. Though he did ask Steve if Pepper survived, it wasn't before he told him that he lost Peter. Of all the things that had and were happening, this was on his mind even more than his wife-to-be.
