5. Daniel Craig & Eva Green Have Franchise-Best Chemistry

Daniel Craig and Eva Green have absolutely spectacular, sizzling chemistry in this film from first minute to last. Their first meeting is almost immediately loaded with begrudging sexual chemistry, which only builds over the course of their sortie.

A refreshing rebuke to 007's countless throwaway dalliances over the years, there's a more pronounced devotion to character development here, yet not at the expense of a devilishly entertaining back-and-forth between the two.

Perhaps their best scene together is a surprisingly tender meeting in a shower, where Bond consoles Vesper after they've dispatched a fleet of assassins. Vesper brought out the best in both Bond and Craig, revealing a more tortured and, temporarily, more vulnerable 007.

Sadly none of the three subsequent Bond films have found a way to live up to the organic brilliance of this relationship.
