12 Unintentionally Hilarious Comic Book Movie Moments

10. It's 'Reflection On My Abuse As A Child' Time!

Fant4stic is one giant unintentionally funny moment. The final nail in the coffin for any future film focusing on Marvel€™s first family, Fantfourstic is testament that when you have a movie about a guy who can stretch and another guy who can light on fire like a protesting monk in Vietnam, you should probably embrace the absurdity instead of trying to be all "Fun? Fun?! These movies are not meant to be for FUN!" Ben Grimm, aka The Thing, is known to spout "It€™s clobberin€™ time!" when he€™s about to mush a bad guys face into jam. It€™s a harmless, cheesy line that has been around since the character has existed. Because it€™s so harmless and cheesy, director Josh Trank immediately set about making it as depressing as possible because he€™s an anti-fun agent. Trank made "It€™s clobberin€™ time" be what Grimm€™s older brother used to say before he€™d put a beating on a young Ben. And The Thing felt that it was necessary to spout it in a fight to the death. During the pivotal fight scene with Doom€ wait, the ONLY fight scene with Doom (or anyone else, for that matter), Ben shouts out his brother€™s catchphrase before he punches Doom into an energy beam and disintegrates him. Normally, I wouldn€™t say child abuse is hilarious, but that€™s so stupid that it€™s, well, hilarious. Expect the Hulk to swap "Hulk smash!" for "It€™s your fault that your father left!" next time he€™s on the big screen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUJrZbUbahs
