12 Unintentionally Hilarious Comic Book Movie Moments

9. Well... That Was A Minor Inconvenience

A lot of people think that Superman III is where the franchise really began to get ridiculous but nope, it was silly before that. The movies have an undeniable charm and Superman II, in particular, stands out as the best of the lot but it still boasts its share of unintentionally hilarious moments. Case in point, Superman throwing his €˜S€™ logo at Non. Superman was forced to lure the Kryptonian criminals (Zod, Ursa and Non) to his Fortress of Solitude in order to protect the civilians of Metropolis, as Zod had deducted that Superman cares for them. Confronting Zod and his troupe of eighties Russian ice-skaters, Supes unveils a new power that he shares with a bevy of tyrants; the ability to use symbols as weapons. He somehow takes the symbol on his chest (which does not stand for hope, it stands for S, don't be stupid) and throws it at Non. The S grows and turns into cellophane, wrapping itself around Non, who is understandably freaked out. Then it disappears as if it never existed or was absorbed into Non€™s skin like a giant tab of LSD. Making this even funnier is Lois€™ stupefied expression, absolutely dumbfounded at what she just saw. Then you have Zod hilariously no-selling the entire thing as if it never happened. Which was probably for the best. As they said in Family Guy, "That was a minor inconvenience/" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiN0Lwvi7CA
