12 Unintentionally Hilarious Comic Book Movie Moments

11. Batman: Master Of Ninjitsu

Now for a problem that has plagued the majority of Batman films all the way back since Tim Burton€™s Batman in 1989 and led to many an unintentionally hilarious moment. Seeing Batman not being able to turn his neck immediately reminds you just how ridiculous he looks. Even in the Nolan films, Batman appears to have less mobility than a seventy year old with a stiff back and a halo brace stapled to their skull. The problem began here, in the first Batman flick, where Michael Keaton was the first unfortunate soul to feel the wrath of the suit. Jack Nicolson€™s Jack Napier is set up by his boss, Carl Grissom, to be murdered during a raid at the Axis Chemicals plant. A shootout ensues and Batman appears, struggling with Napier, who is accidentally knocked into a vat of chemical waste and becomes the Joker. Having to flee the police, Batman finds himself cornered and has to improvise his escape. Because he can€™t turn his neck to see where the police are, he has to turn his entire body and it looks like he€™s doing the world€™s most unenthusiastic Macarena dance. Still, the funniest moment of this scene comes from Batman disappearing in a cloud of smoke, confusing a police officer. By €˜disappearing€™, I mean €˜is obviously escaping€™ because he would have been better off blowing cigarette smoke in their direction and then lying down on the floor with his eyes closed rather than his half-hearted attempt at stealth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vlc3s5bsHuc&feature=youtu.be&t=240
