Premise: An even older Harrison Ford comes back to explore the globe in Indiana Jones and the Quest For the Padded Chair.

Preceded by: Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Surely this was has to beat Swarovski aliens and Cate Blanchett's bowl-cut? 2008's fourth Indiana Jones film promised to bring Dr. Jones and his whip-cracking adventures into the 21st Century. We hadn't seen Ford and his fedora in 19 years and hopes were high when Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released. Despite criticisms of the CGI, and Shia LaBeouf's ability to carry the franchise forward, Crystal Skull was a runaway success at the box office.

The idea of a fifth film seemed buried in an archeological dig, but the announcement of Indy 5 was a surprise of this year. While producer Frank Marshall insists that even the script is still in the "thinking" stage, we are still a long way off knowing the ins and outs. They have managed to lock down Harrison Ford in the titular role, but he will be 77 by the time the film is released. There is no news yet on whether LaBeouf will return, but given his rocky career and personal life since 2008, who knows - even Suicide Squad declared him too risky to cast. However, we do know that Steven Spielberg will also be back, so how can it possibly fail to win over fans of the franchise...again?
