12 Villains Far Too Lame For The Marvel Cinematic Universe

10. Critical Mass

First Appearance: Marvel Comics Presents #48 Enemies: Spider-Man, Wolverine This guy was awful in so many ways. The second most ridiculously obese of Marvel€™s fat villains, the only thing interesting about Critical Mass was that he went to high school with Spider-Man. Back when Spidey was just Peter Parker, he would have had little idea that there was a mutant in his fourth grade class, let alone that it would turn out to be Arnie Gunderson. Once he realised that he could shoot powerful rays from his fingertips as well as his ass, Arnie decided to form his own band of baddies. What did he call them? Band of Baddies, of course. They went on to abduct a powerful young mutant girl named Mary in the hopes of using her against Spiderman, but she ended up kicking their asses herself in the end. With a thus far untitled Spider-Man movie pencilled in for a summer 2017 release (the fourth of ten proposed Third Phase features) there is room for a new Spidey nemesis to come into the fold, though it€™s unlikely that there would ever be enough room for Critical Mass.
