12 Villains Who Must Appear In Affleck's Batman Movie

3. The Riddler

Obviously adapting Hush means introducing The Riddler as the grand manipulator behind Thomas Elliott's scheme, but even as a more supporting character, it's time we got a fresh take on The Riddler.

So far, we've seen three Jokers, two Two-Faces, two Cat-Womans and even two Banes: the idea that we haven't seen The Riddler since Jim Carrey's "unique" turn in Batman Forever is just abominable. He deserves to be classed on a comparible level as The Joker, and has some truly memorable comic book arcs that are ripe for potential adaptation.

The Riddler attempting to challenge Batman in a battle of wits while he deals with other more physical villains worked brilliantly for the Arkham video game series, and following the same approach for the films would reap similar rewards. After all, we've not yet really seen a villain (since Edward Nygma) who wants nothing more than proving himself superior to the Bat and it's an intriguing idea.
