Halle Berry rightfully copped a heap of criticism for that terrible Catwoman film, but since this is about Marvel movies, let's focus on her role of Storm in X-Men. The verdict? Not quite as bad as Catwoman, but still pretty terrible. Storm is meant to be a powerful and regal figure who commands respect wherever she goes but Berry made Storm so unremarkable and so passive that the character was more of a distraction than anything else. But worse than making a character who could is afraid of her own shadow is Berry's attempt at giving Storm some stupid and inconsistent accent. If you're going to use an accent for a character, stick with it for every scene and don't just abandon it whenever you feel like it. And after all that, let's not even get started on the horrendous 'toad' and 'lightning' debacle. It seems like Halle Berry and superhero movies are not a good mix so let's just all hope that Storm can be redeemed in the upcoming X-Men movie.
My life story is nothing special. I haven't cured ebola, I'm nowhere near stopping terrorism, and I'm still working on that climate change problem.
Instead, all I've done so far is put a few hundred words together in an attempt to make people laugh.
