7. Hulk Goes To Space - Avengers: Age Of Ultron

When Thor: Ragnarok was unveiled and it was announced not only that Hulk would be playing a significant part but that it would be largely set on another planet, some heads were scratched. After all, the end of Avengers Age Of Ultron - or the last time we saw him, in other words - revealed that he had landed the Quinjet he escaped in near Fiji. Which is definitely on Earth.

But then he turned up in Ragnarok on Sakaar and the only explanation we got for how he got there was a vague allusion to the Quinjet and coming through a portal. So we just have to accept that he got to Fiji, decided it wasn't for him and went to space.

We wouldn't have had to assume anything if the original plan for Avengers: Age Of Ultron had gone through, as the ending was supposed to see Hulk go to space. Sadly, Kevin Feige feared fans would think they were teasing a Planet Hulk movie, so it was changed.
