2. Deadpool Is Going Classic

You could probably have been forgiven for expecting the Deadpool redo to simply fade away, given how long it's been rumbling around as an idea, but it does genuinely seem to be picking up speed. With the cast growing - with Gina Carano and TJ Miller joining Ryan Reynolds - the 2016 prospect has already offered up its first genuinely exciting bit of news, with the sneak peak of the distinctly classic looking prototype mask Reynolds put on Twitter. Looking incredibly vascular (no doubt an indication that Deadpool is going to be as lean as he is acerbic), Reynold's annoyingly sepia-toned tease thankfully promised what was expected - a return to source after the war crimes of X-Men Origins. And while that's not an unexpected revelation, it's arguably the most welcome one of the year so far.
