Whilst the original Strangers film was truly terrifying and a real box office splash, its sequel, Prey at Night, has slipped a more below the radar, even if we arguably see the best of the trio in this sequel.

The first film focused on the tension, suspense and hopelessness of a home invasion, however Prey at Night is a much more action-packed, slasher-like title, moving the action into a wider caravan park and doubling the amount of potential victims up to four.

Seeing Baghead really flex his muscles with his hulking frame, huge wood axe and collection of a fair few fights throughout the movie really adds to a whole new intimidating dimension to his character, and Dollface's continued revelling in the terror the trio are causing is equally unsettling. Pin-Up Girl might have the least amount of screen time of the three, however she arguably brings with her the two best moments of the whole film.

Ultimately, Prey at Night is a nice homage to the glory days of the 1980s slasher subgenre (right down to the cheesy synth hits) and to this deadly trio who always know how to pull out a good scare.
