13 Awesome Movie Sequel Pitches That Were Stupidly Scrapped

2. Jump Street/Men In Black Crossover - MIB 23

The Pitch: After 22 Jump Street was a smash at the box office, a third film was quickly confirmed, but the Sony Pictures hack of 2014 revealed that Sony were in fact planning a cross-over sequel with the Men in Black franchise, entitled MIB 23.

Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum...and aliens? With the brilliant Phil Lord and Chris Miller set to pen the script, how could you not be excited about something so terrifically stupid?

What Happened?: Jonah Hill stated that the movie had stalled and probably wouldn't get made, in part because of the legal red tape involved with the Men in Black franchise, and the difficulty of keeping the movie meta when it's effectively attaching itself to a giant cinematic enterprise like MiB.

Even so, Lord and Miller probably could've made it work, so this is a huge damn shame.
