13 Awful Movies With 1 Awesome Scene

10. Single Take Shootout - London Has Fallen

The Awful Movie: At its best, London Has Fallen is a lazy rehash of the first movie, complete with corny one-liners, outrageously bad CGI, an unsavoury air of self-righteous sadistic violence, and a sleepwalking Morgan Freeman barely able to pretend to care about what's going on.

At its worst, this is an extremely offensive, arguably racist movie that includes golden one-liners such as "Why don't you pack up your s*** and head back to F***headistan or wherever you came from?" while Gerard Butler accosts a terrorist.

The Awesome Scene: As Gerard Butler's Secret Service agent Mike Banning attempts to save the President (Aaron Eckhart), he finds himself forced to shoot his way down a long alley filled with enemy combatants.

Cue a superbly-directed single-take sequence as we follow Banning while he avoids gunfire, RPGs and mounted machine guns, and with the help of his assault team, murders a whole lot of terorrists.

While the two-minute shot loses a few points because it's quite clearly been stitched together digitally, it's still a surprisingly sharp set-piece that nobody saw coming.
