13 Best Easter Eggs From The Star Wars Prequels

1. Millennium Falcon In Revenge Of The Sith

Lucasfilm

Remember how we said CGI allowed for animators to put just about anything in the movies? Well before chucking in the kitchen sink they added some much more meaningful easter eggs for eagle-eyed fans to spot. By far the best has to be the appearance of the Millenium Falcon in Revenge Of The Sith.

That's right, it's blink-and-you'll-miss-it, but the spaceship that changed the face of the galaxy is docking just as Anakin and Obi-Wan drop a freed Chancellor Palpatine at the Senate. And it's not any old YT-1300 light freighter either; it's been confirmed that is indeed the one and only Millennium Falcon.

So what was the Falcon doing there? As you'd expect with Star Wars, there's a full explanation out in the Expanded Universe; at this point in time the ship was known as the Stellar Envoy and was piloted by Tobb Jadak at the behest of the Republic Order, a coalition of Jedi and Senators.

We're thankful this was the extent of the Falcon/Envoy's (the ship has also been known as Second Chance, Jackpot and Gone to Pieces) involvement in the prequels; it would have been way too much fan service for it to have play a pivotal role.
