10. Scary Movie 3 - Scary Movie Franchise

Successful spoof movies are extremely unusual and this third film in the Scary Movie series, which spoofs many popular films (mainly The Ring, Signs, 8 Mile and The Matrix Reloaded), is one of the only good spoofs of recent times, making it a true cinematic rarity.
Scary Movie 3 is funny. Fine, it's funny in a very, very silly and crude way but it is genuinely witty and there are some terrific jokes. For example, there's a certain scene set at a funeral wake which is so funny you might have to pause the film to regain your composure.
It's certainly the best film in this series of horror movie spoofs. The original Scary Movie, in spite of the annoying way in which it spoofed a satire, is solid but the other three are awful. As such, since it was both a spoof and a sequel in a terrible franchise (especially the one which followed the execrable Scary Movie 2), Scary Movie 3 actually being good makes it one of the most pleasantly surprising comedies of recent times.
