4. Typhoid Mary (Elektra)

What hope is there for a movie when it can't even get a villain's name right? Typhoid Mary (played by Natassia Malthe) kinda appears in this ill-fated Daredevil spin-off under the shortened name of Typhoid, and aside from the fact that she's a physically adept fighter, almost all of her comic book abilities have been stripped away. These include telekinesis, pyrokinesis, hypnosis, and also a schizophrenic component which sees her switching between three different personalities. Instead of playing-up Mary's threatening potential, she's part of a thoroughly generic pack of villains who are effortlessly killed off before film's end without any significance or fanfare whatsoever. It's a shame, as with a better script, the sexy Malthe probably could've done the character total justice.
