13 Crucial Death Scenes Ruined By Terrible Acting

5. Boba Fett's Lame Death Suffers From Lamer Voice Acting - Star Wars Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi

The Scene: As Luke (Mark Hamill) battles with Jabba's guards, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) accidentally smashes into Boba Fett, igniting his jet pack and sending him flying into a wall. After he collides with it, he falls to the ground and rolls into a nearby sarlacc pit. Why It Sucks: Granted, this is one of the most frustrating scenes in the entire original trilogy, because it takes a bada** fan favourite character and kills him off by way of some goofy slapstick. Given Fett's lack of dialogue in Return of the Jedi, it's not immediately clear who actually voiced the incredibly silly, undignified scream that he lets out as he flies into the wall, but it helps give one the series' coolest characters a rather limp, unfitting end. It'd be daft even without the ridiculous scream, but it basically seals the deal.
