7. More Details Are Revealed About Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Earlier in the year Disney revealed that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be opening in late 2024, at D23 we learned a bit more about the attraction.
Following on from The Princess and the Frog movie, the ride sees Tiana and her restaurant getting ready for carnival season. Tiana has discovered that the a key ingredient she needs for her party is missing.
Tiana begins a journey with Louis where they "meet all sorts of unexpected new friends who have a special role to play at the party".
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be finding a new home at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, replacing what is currently Splash Mountain in both parks.
The ride doesn't seem like it will just be given the old attraction a spruce up. Disney confirmed that they will be using new technology and ultimately it will "feel like an entirely new attraction".
Actors from The Princess and the Frog will be reprising their roles for the ride and we can expect new music.
In Disneyland's New Orleans Square a new boutique will be opening this month called Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets. Bringing the spirit of the movie to the park before the ride opens.
