13 Incredible Looking Comic Book Movie Characters (That Actually Sucked)

8. Abomination - The Incredible Hulk

Abomination Hulk
Marvel Studios

Played By: Tim Roth

To give Louis Leterrier his dues, he saw the need for a more action-driven Hulk movie after Ang Lee's more experimental take on the character had baffled as many people as it had disappointed. And he did manage to pull off a couple of really good set pieces, including the Battle Of Harlem that is definitely part of the MCU no matter what some cynics might wish.

And at the heart of that Battle was Tim Roth's Abomination - in every way the equal to Ed Norton's Hulk but with a rougher edge. Thanks to his misuse of Banner's DNA and an inner evil that manifested in his mutation when he "hulked up", Blonsky turned into a glorious Mr. Hyde creation who looked the absolute business.

Sadly, Roth's over-acting as Blonsky did a fair bit of irreparable damage up to that point and the Abomination wasn't given enough of a chance to really shine. He's still alive, so fingers crossed we get to see him again, but maybe don't hold your breath.
