13 Incredible Moments In Otherwise Forgettable Movies
2. Don't Stop Believing - The Losers
The Movie: Everyone remembers that Chris Evans played the Human Torch before he played Captain America, but does anyone know he also played another comic book character in 2010's The Losers? No?
Indifferently directed by Sylvain "Stomp the Yard" White, this low-budget action flick thoroughly wastes Evans, Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana and Jeffrey Dean Morgan largely thanks to a depressingly simplistic script which evokes the feel of a particularly naff The A-Team rip-off.
Hell, it's not even as good as Joe Carnahan's tedious A-Team movie which released a few months later.
The Scene: Wise-cracking computer hacker Jake Jensen has to break into a building to steal a technological Macguffin, but he's inevitably rumbled, leading to an energetic escape sequence set to Journey's iconic "Don't Stop Believin'".
While rushing to take the elevator, he's caught by the building's security guards, who hold him at gunpoint. Jake responds by pulling out his own "guns" - his fingers - and insisting he has telekinetic superpowers.
At this point his sniper pal Cougar (Óscar Jaenada) blasts two of the cops away, while Jake pretends the bullets were shot from his fingers, again while scored by Don't Stop Believin'.
Evans is clearly having the time of his life - until Cap happened, anyway - and brings a lot of fun energy to the scene, even if this is the only thing anyone remembers about the film.
