Ah, here we are. Another installment in The Conjuring franchise to come like clockwork each passing summer, making James Wan the Walt Disney of all things horror. With the success of both The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2, 3 is likely to be another hit at the hands of Wan - though the same can’t always be said of his spin offs.
This time, the Warrens are in the 1980s dealing with a man who claims that a demonic werewolf entity is possessing him; and suddenly we’re all about 200% more invested in this film. Demon werewolves is a concept we can all get behind, guys.
Needing a two year break to make room for The Nun’s release, the franchise looks like it’s going to get a little bit wacky over the next couple of years.
